I love the shape and structure of these great animals. There's no mistaking their silhouette with their large tuft of heavy gnarled fur and chunky thick coat. I poured the acrylic paint first with the vision of the wooly curled fur in front and down the chest. With enhanced acrylic pours, the goal is to use some of the cells and pour design within the body of your subject matter. I really enjoy this process and my favorite part with this one was working on the horns. There are hints of gold and copper for some hits of flash and shine.
The sides are painted black. The painting is sealed with gloss varnish.
The creation of this painting is shown on my You Tube channel if you'd like to see the process.
