When I searched for reference photos one day I came across this pair of gorgeous eagles.  I did this background and knew this would be perfect for them.  The background is rich, earthy and full of details and depth.  While retaining some of the acrylic pour details within the birds, I wanted to clearly not their head structure.  The are stoic and fierce.  I love the beak formation and when you put that in, the eagle magically comes to life.  This painting has veins of silver, gold, in very rich earth toned beautiful colors.  

The painting is sealed with gloss spray varnish.
