My favorite part of Alberta is our beautiful landscape. I always wished I grew up on a ranch, around horses and our amazing wildlife. I could envision trees like this all around in a beautiful forest setting. I really enjoy creating older larger types of trees and the details of their surfaces. I often stop and marvel at trees admiring their bark and old gnarly holes and branches. I add to the painting what I feel suits the atmosphere and in this case a group of wild life buddies.
